PCYC Opti Team Announcement
We’ve got BIG news. 🇨🇦⛵️✨

The Canadian Optimist Dinghy Association (CODA) has officially announced the fifteen sailors who will represent Canada at the 2025 Optimist Panamerican Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina — and PCYC is proudly sending an incredible group of athletes!

The athletes from PCYC representing Canada are: 💙 Oliver Chin 💙 Zackaria Hashim 💙 Logan Wright 💙 James Groom 💙 Arjen Liu-Ernsting 💙 Asli Memis

And leading them with world-class coaching, ⭐️ Head Race Coach: Federico Donzino!

These sailors have trained with dedication, resilience, and so much heart — and their hard work has earned them this incredible opportunity on the international stage.

Under the guidance of PCYC’s elite Opti coach Fede Donzino, Will Keilty secured 4th at the invitation-only 2025 Regatta of Champions, held Nov 4–8 in Limassol, Cyprus — the first time a Canadian sailor has ever been invited.
We’re incredibly proud to have Fede leading our Opti program right here in the GTA.
