Yesterday, the Canadian Polish Business Association contributed to a very successful Polish Flag Raising Ceremony at City of Brampton – Your Local Government City Hall, marking Polish Heritage Month. This event not only commemorates the rich history and contributions of the Polish-Canadian community but also fosters a sense of unity and pride among us all.

We were especially proud to welcome the team from the Orliński Museum, who shared their important mission of preserving the legacy of Polish aviation hero Bolesław Orliński, enriching the event with a sense of historical pride. The museum, located at Wawel Villa, stands as a testament to Orliński's remarkable achievements and the enduring spirit of Polish veterans in Canada.

Additionally, we were joined by Joanne Chrobot and her wonderful team from Basket Brigade Canada , whose commitment to community support and charitable outreach aligns closely with our shared values of compassion and service. Their efforts in delivering food baskets to families in need across the GTA exemplify the strength of community solidarity.

We’d also like to acknowledge Pace Law Firm, a proud sponsor and supporter of this celebration and a long-standing champion of multicultural engagement. Another stunning event organized by the Canadian Polish Business Association this time at City of Brampton – Your Local Government City Hall celebrating Polish Heritage Month with a special Polish Flag Raising Ceremony.

The event was made even more meaningful by the vibrant performance of the Lechowia Polish Canadian Folk Ensemble, whose dedication to preserving and showcasing Polish culture continues to inspire pride within the community.

A sincere thank you to Mayor Patrick Brown and Brampton City Council for officially proclaiming May as Polish Heritage Month and for recognizing the contributions of the Polish-Canadian community to the cultural fabric of Brampton and Canada.

Thank you for everyone who came out to the Polish Flag Raising Ceremony at the City of Mississauga - Municipal Government City Hall! This was another successful event organized by the Canadian Polish Business Association in honour of Polish Constitution Day—a celebration of the enduring spirit, contributions, and cultural pride of the Polish community in Canada.

We were honoured to gather with community members, leaders, and friends to celebrate our shared values of freedom, resilience, and cultural pride.

A heartfelt thank-you to ZPiT Radość-Joy / Radosc-Joy Vocal Dance Group for their wonderful performance—an inspiring example of youth actively promoting Polish culture and tradition through music and dance.

Seeing young people so engaged in preserving and sharing their heritage was one of the highlights of the event. Their energy and dedication are a reminder that the future of our community is in passionate and capable hands.

A huge thank you for all the help from Eric Szustak Michael Kwadrans Anna Gulbinski and Andrea Baranowski from the leadership team and all the volunteers! Your support brought a true taste of Polish culture to the celebration and added a wonderful atmosphere of hospitality and togetherness.
