The leadership of the IAM have realized that in order for our union to be prepared for the future we must ensure that our youth are engaged, encouraged and given the opportunities needed to become future leaders. As a member of the IAM we are referred to as "Machinists," if you are a young member we hope that you will be able to identify yourself as a "Young Machinists." Link to video of the Young

The Young Machinist group is a way to organize our members. Allowing our young members opportunities to get involved and having our experienced members assist and mentor them along the way. Becoming active in the union does not happen overnight, it takes time to learn everything that is involved. We hope that our young members will see the value of this group and participate along our path to becoming successful. Here at Local Lodge 2323 we are seeking young members that are looking to get involved in the union.
