Peel Children's Aid Society

Peel Children's Aid Society We champion the safety and well-being of children and youth based on their unique needs while strengthening families. Some families just need parenting support.

Peel Children’s Aid Society strives to ensure the safety and well-being of the community’s most vulnerable with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Through culturally competent services, with the support of our Peel community, we help parents and caregivers build healthy families and provide a safe environment for children and youth. We believe that children and youth belong at home with t

heir families whenever possible, and will do everything we can to keep families together. Families we work with may be facing challenges such as poverty, unemployment, ill health, domestic violence, mental health issues, or caring for a child who has serious physical, emotional or developmental difficulties. Peel CAS works with the family to determine the kind of supports they need, and links them with the appropriate community services. Together, Peel CAS and our partners work with children and families for a stronger, healthier community.

Peel CAS was proud to co-host the 2nd annual Family Law Student Day with Ontario Government Ministry of the Attorney General and Peel Law Association!

From the Brampton Courthouse to The Circle (our new community building at 25 Capston Dr. Mississauga), students explored how legal professionals and community partners work together to advocate for and support children, youth & families.

💜Thank you to everyone who shared their time and expertise with the next generation of legal professionals. We can’t wait to co-host again next year!

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating community in Brampton this past weekend! 💙

Peel Children’s Aid Society and our team was proud to be part of Minister Graham McGregor's 5th Annual Summer BBQ and to connect with families, community leaders and local organizations. Community events like this create meaningful opportunities to connect families with resources, supports and people who are .

At Peel CAS, we believe that supporting children, youth and families is a shared community responsibility. Through our Early Help and Prevention approach, we work alongside families and community partners to connect people with the right supports early, strengthen families and help children and youth become empowered to build bright futures.

Together, we can continue building a stronger, healthier community where every child and family has the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you, Minister McGregor, for bringing our community together!

Thank you to Peel Regional Police for their hard work bringing perpetrators of human s*x trafficking to justice. We are grateful to work alongside police and our other partner organizations to stop the exploitation of vulnerable young people and support survivors.

If you think you or someone you know may be at risk, help is available. nCourage brings together multiple service providers to provide victims/survivors of human trafficking with client-centred, trauma-informed care. Peel CAS is proud to be a part of this collaborative with victim services, police, housing supports, system navigators, trauma therapists and child welfare, all coming together to end human trafficking and help survivors rebuild their lives. Our Community Engagement team was pleased to be a part of MPP Amarjot Sandhu's Community BBQ last weekend. We had a great time connecting with local families and other service providers to raise awareness of the work we do to support children, youth and families.

Peel CAS takes pride in supporting our diverse community, and the team shared details about our youth programs and extensive array of culturally competent service models. Learn more: https://www.peelcas.org/diversity-equity-and-inclusion/cultural-competency
