Today is October 1st and it’s a lovely reminder that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! From all of us at Team PhilFest Mississauga, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for three (3) incredible days. From our partners and sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, performers, volunteers, and all of you who came and participated in all the activities, a huge THANK YOU!!! Your presence made the event truly special — a festival for EVERYONE celebrating community together. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful journey. What a super fun time at PhilFest Mississauga! The facial puzzle at the amphitheatre was a huge hit, and it was incredible to see everyone getting involved and having fun. Thank you to everyone who participated and made it such a memorable experience! Can’t wait to see you all again next year!

You know you’re truly Filipino if you love to sing, and most of us even have playlists for every stage of our lives! 😉🎤🎶🎼❤️ For those of us who are part of this generation, chances are Martin Nievera’s tunes are on it.🙋‍♀️🙋🎶

So to have Martin, the Concert King himself, lead thousands of PhilFest goers in a big live sing along at Mississauga Celebration Square was epic! With every familiar melody, came a flood of memories, from songs we grew up with, to moments we shared with the people we love and these melodies in the background.

We all had smiles in our faces and hearts as we sang the lyrics, and not a few of us were even moved to tears, feeling connected once again to our homeland.🥺

Let’s look back to that day, we were wrapping up an amazing .Sing along again and comment below, which one’s your favourite song?❤️🎤

What an amazing Day 3 at PhilFest Mississauga—what a culmination of 15 incredible years! 🎉❤️

From the laughter that echoed through the park to the vibrant colours of our culture shining bright, every moment was a beautiful reminder of the strength and warmth of our community. The nostalgic traditional dances, contemporary music and even the games and cultural installations paid tribute to who we are. The last day’s highlight was the Concert at the Square featuring the legendary Martin Nievera and the talented Klarisse De Guzman. The whole community came together for a heartwarming sing-along that filled the air with joy and unity.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in creating unforgettable memories! Here’s to our vibrant community and the love that unites us.

Thank you to the City of Mississauga for providing space to share Filipino culture to the rest of the Canadian community. Until next year! Maraming, maraming salamat!

A beautiful celebration of Filipino culture, Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe brought the PhilFest Day 3 stage to life with traditional Filipino dances that reflect the richness, beauty, and diversity of our heritage.

From graceful movements to vibrant rhythms, every performance tells a story of who we are, where we come from, and the traditions we proudly carry forward.

A wonderful reminder that culture lives on when we share it, express it, and celebrate it. 🇵🇭

Thank you Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe for helping us keep our heritage dancing! Always a highlight of and enjoyed by all our attendees whatever age, race or interest.🙏🏼🫶🏻
