Pak Pioneers Community Organization of Canada hosted a great Intergenerational Event as Family Fungama Night on March 27th, 2026, bringing together seniors, families, youth and members of the South Asian community for a truly memorable celebration. The event was graced by esteemed guests of honor, including Mississauga Mayor, Carolyn Parrish, MP Peter Fonseca, MP Iqra Khalid, MPP Silvia Gualtieri, MPP Deepak Annand, Councillor Chris Fonseca, Councillor Stephen Dasko, and Secretary of State for Combatting Crime, Minister Ruby Sahota. During the evening, active volunteers and community leaders were recognized with awards of appreciation for their dedication and service to the community. Attendees were treated to a short documentary showcasing the organization’s accomplishments over the past year, highlighting the impactful events, achievements, and successes of the Pak Pioneers Community Organization of Canada. Prominent community leaders and special guests also attended, applauding the organization's continued efforts to support seniors and foster community spirit. The evening featured live music, dancing, fun & entertainment, delicious dinner, and numerous prizes distributed among the attendees, making it a joyous occasion for all. Pak Pioneers once again demonstrated its commitment to serving the community and creating opportunities for connection and celebration, while bringing generations together.

Pak Pioneers Community Organization of Canada Extends Warmest Wishes to Everyone for a Joyous Eid Mubarak!

Pak Pioneers and Senior Pioneers Club Board members met Honorable Mayor Carolyn Parrish at her office at City Hall and presented some suggestions for the benefit of the Community at large. Mayor Parrish very graciously went through them and assured her support where possible. One of the requests was allowance of on-street parking on Eid Days which was promptly delivered by her office by issuing notification for Eid Day Street Parking Permission in City of Mississauga*

Under the Traffic By-law (0092-2025), on-street parking is permitted between 5:00 a.m. and 11:59:59 p.m. on March 19 and 20, 2026, in recognition of Eid-al-Fitr.

As Eid-al-Fitr concludes on March 21 this year, the City will be extending the parking permissions to that date on-street parking will be permitted between 5:00 a.m. and 11:59:59 p.m. from March 19 to March 21, 2026.

On Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, Pak Pioneers Community Organization organized a workshop at Senior Pioneers Club on the topic of “Safe and Effective Use of Technology in Daily Life and Community Service Part 2.” by Mr. Muhammad Tahaam for the Capacity Building of its Members and Volunteers. and appreciated the efforts of Pak Pioneers for allowing them to keep learning and growing.
