⛳️An Incredible $9,700 Raised at the Bubba Cup💙 What a fun and memorable day in support of our Foundation!

Our heartfelt, thanks to Blair, Bubba‘s daughter, for organizing this wonderful event; Joseph for running the raffle; and Mike for many years of support. We are also deeply grateful to every Volunteer, golfer and the team at South Bruck, golf and country club for making this day such a success.

People like Blair and everyone who supports events like the Bubba Cup make a meaningful difference in the lives of those living with Parkinson’s. These funds will help us continue providing complementary programs, friendship and community, while ensuring that no one walks their Parkinson journey alone.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.💙.

An unforgettable night at TIFF attending the premiere of Onwards and Sideways. Starring Laura Linney and Rhys Ifans, this deeply moving film follows two strangers, whose lives unexpectedly connect after they are both diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Told with honesty, warmth and humor, it beautifully reminds us that a Parkinson’s diagnosis does not define a person or take away the possibility of friendship, love, laughter, and joy. It was an incredible privilege to hear the actors and director John Madden and writer Paul Mayhew archer, speak how they brought this important story to life with a sensitivity and heart. Thank you TIFF for shinning a lightbon Parkinson’s and helping audience is better understand the strength, courage, and humanity of those living with Parkinson’s.

happy Father’s Day

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sons, husbands, and friends in our Parkinson’s community.

We celebrate the dad’s who keep showing up. The men the men who faced challenges they never asked for yet continue to lead with courage, humor, determination, and love.

Parkinson’s may change how a person moves, speaks, or lives day-to-day, but it does not change who they are.

It does not take away the father who taught us to ride a bike. The husband who still reaches out for his wife’s hand. The brother who stands beside us. The friend who never quits. The grandfather whose wisdom continues to guide generations.

Today, we honour the men living with Parkinson’s, who inspire us through their resilience and strength. We also recognize the families who walk this journey beside them supporting, encouraging, and loving every step of the way.

To every Dad, living with Parkinson’s; you’re stronger than you know, you are loved more than you realize and your impact on those around you is a measurable.

From all of us, a passion for Parkinson’s foundation, happy Father’s Day. Thank you for showing us what true .

⚽ A huge THANK YOU to the Toronto Walking Soccer Club for welcoming members of the Passion for Parkinson’s community this weekend!

Our participants and care partners had the opportunity to learn about one of the fastest-growing sports for people living with Parkinson’s, meet an incredible group of players, and experience firsthand how Walking Soccer combines movement, teamwork, friendship, and fun.

We came away inspired by the energy on the field, the supportive atmosphere, and the many physical and social benefits this sport can offer. From improving balance, coordination, and mobility to building confidence and connection, Walking Soccer truly demonstrates that movement is medicine.

The response from our community was overwhelmingly positive, and we're excited to share that Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation will be bringing Walking Soccer to Oakville in the near future!

📢 Program dates and registration details will be announced soon, so stay tuned.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us and provided feedback as we explore this exciting new program. Together, we're creating more opportunities for people living with Parkinson’s to stay active, connected, and empowered.
