Carassauga Largest Multicultural Festival in Canada. Carassauga is an incorporated non-profit volunteer community organization, celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2025.

It operated for the first time in 1985 with 10 pavilions. The Festival was developed in response to a challenge put out by Mayor Hazel McCallion to all ethno cultural groups at a meeting of her calling in the old City Hall in the fall of 1985. Carassauga Festival ranks today as Mississauga's largest cultural festival, its largest indoor festival, and its second longest running community festival.

Please note that online passport sales have now closed.
You can still purchase your Advance ticket for $ 10 in person until May 22nd at one of these participating locations: carassauga.com. Adult passports (13+) are $15 at the door; children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult passport holder.
A Carassauga Passport grants you:
Unlimited access to all 21 cultural pavilions, live performances, international cuisine, and kids’ activities, FREE rides on MiWay and Carassauga shuttle buses during festival hours.

The festival runs from Saturday, May 23 (12:00 PM – 11:00 PM) to Sunday, May 24 (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM) at various locations throughout Mississauga.
