👑 It’s Tony’s 10th birthday! 🎂🎉

Tony’s life today looks very different from where his story began. After spending much of his earlier life as a breeding cat and facing several medical challenges, this handsome Bengal finally got the fresh start he deserved.

Now, Tony has a forever family who adores him AND three brothers Rusty, Capone, and Clyde, to share his home with. 🐾💜

We couldn’t be happier to see this special boy getting to spend another birthday surrounded by the love, attention, and family he always deserved.

Happy Birthday, Tony! 👑💜

Courtesy post: Cole, Ebony & Stella 🐾

Location: Chatham, Ontario

Cole & Ebony: 18 years old, bonded siblings who must stay together

Stella: 13 years old

We are sharing this courtesy post for three senior cats in Chatham, Ontario who are looking for new homes following the recent passing of their owner. The family has reached out to many shelters, but none have had space to accommodate these cats.

Cole and Ebony are 18-year-old siblings who must be rehomed together. Cole is a male DMH (pictured) and Ebony is a female black DSH (not pictured). Ebony is more shy than Cole, but she warms up with time.

Stella is a 13-year-old spayed female DSH tabby. The family shares that Stella likes to be outside. Purrfect Seniors strongly recommends that Stella’s new family keep her indoors for her safety and wellbeing.

All three of the cats are up-to-date on her vaccines and have no known health concerns. They get along well with cats, dogs, and older children.

Stella does not need to be adopted with Cole and Ebony, although a home where all three could stay together would certainly be welcomed.

If you are interested in adopting Cole and Ebony, Stella, or all three cats, please email [email protected]. We will connect you with their family to arrange a private rehoming and answer any questions.

Please note: Please help by sharing this post and keeping comments supportive as their family works to find them safe and loving homes. The family has contacted My Grandfather's Cat, but they have a multi-week waiting period and we would like to see the cats go to loving homes as soon as possible.

Today is World Animal Day! 🐾🌎

Celebrated every year on October 4, World Animal Day is about raising awareness for animal welfare and encouraging better lives for animals everywhere.

This year’s theme, “See the World Through Their Eyes,” feels especially meaningful to us.

For Purrfect Seniors, that means remembering that senior cats deserve the same care, compassion, and chance at a loving home as any other cat. Age shouldn’t be the reason any animal gets overlooked.

Today, we’re celebrating the animals we love and everyone who helps make their lives a little better. 💜

There are still a lot of misconceptions about FIV, and unfortunately, they can make it harder for FIV+ cats to find homes.

The reality is that FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives. FIV is not easily spread through everyday contact, and FIV+ and FIV-negative cats can live safely together in homes where they get along.

We’ve seen this firsthand — 3 FIV+ cats have been adopted through our sponsorship program into loving homes. 💜

An FIV diagnosis doesn’t make a cat any less adoptable or deserving of a second chance.

Swipe through to learn more about FIV and a few of the common myths surrounding it.

We have another beautiful calendar submission that we'd like to share with you! 💜

"Artemis is a sweet little girl who loves to perch on high places and nap. She loves to drink from the faucet and if she uses the water bowl must first splash the water with her paw before standing in it to drink. She is the perfect addition to our family and she immediately bonded with her tripod brother Apollo."

Artemis was adopted through our Sponsorship Program back in November. We're so happy to see this senior girl thriving!🐾
