CUPE Local 2544

CUPE Local 2544 Local 2544 came into existence on August 20, 1981 and is a democratic Union in which the members make the decisions and set the policies.

CUPE Local 2544 represents approximately 1,500 Custodians, School Attendants, Cafeteria Workers, Tradespeople and Casual Workers employed by the Peel District School Board.
