Strengthen your digital skills and feel more confident using technology in everyday life and the workplace.

MIAG Centre for Diverse Women & Families is now accepting registrations for Cohort 6 of the Free Digital Literacy Course – Intermediate Level.

This 5-week, 60-hour hybrid course provides practical training in:

💻 Accessing online services
🔐 Protecting yourself from cybercrime and phishing
☁️ Managing files using folders, Google Drive, and OneDrive
🤖 Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
📊 Building intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

📅 Start date: July 6, 2026
🗓 Schedule: Monday to Thursday
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
📍 Format: Hybrid—in person and online

✅ Eligibility: Participants must live in Peel Region and be receiving Ontario Works through the Region of Peel.

Your health matters, and small steps can create lasting change.
MIAG Centre for Diverse Women & Families invites you to join Thrive for Life, a FREE community program focused on chronic disease prevention and stabilization.
Through this program, participants will take part in a series of workshops designed to support healthier lifestyles through education, movement, and community connection.

✨ Program Highlights:

✅ 5 workshop series
✅ Hybrid format: in-person & online
✅ 30 minutes of physical exercise
✅ 1-hour health workshop + 30-minute Q&A
✅ Live food demonstration every 4 weeks
✅ Bonus: Free exercise kit

Workshop topics include diabetes, thyroid disorders, heart health, hypertension, stroke prevention, kidney and liver health, asthma management, cancer awareness, joint health, healthy eating, mental health, brain health, and more.
