Ever wondered how to protect your beautiful Belgic Shako during the occasional inclement weather of campaign season? A foul weather shako cover will protect the water sensitive felt and leather material of the shako, and help prevent the brass badges from rusting. It's also commonly practiced to remove the wool tuft while using the shako cover. Traditionally, these were oil skin covers that would easily become waterproof. The shako cover we use is created by Jim Keller.
