Big shout out to the U15 Red Team on their Championship Win at the MHL Challenge Tournament last weekend. Not only did the team end the season on a high note winning the gold in a nail biting 1-0 game game, but it was also a very special game for long time LPC board member, MHL board member and their head coach Shawn Sandink. Shawn and his team took the win with his very close friends and assistant coaches Len Harmsworth and Bill Maclean on the bench.

It was Shawn’s final game with the team, our association and in the MHL. We all wanted to thank him for his time and dedication to our team, association and the
League over the years. Shawn has been a dedicated and passionate hockey volunteer and he will be greatly missed by our players, coaches, all of the LPC community and at the league. Thank you Shawn for all your contributions over the years to minor hockey in our community.
