A Summer of Purpose, Unity & Impact.

Summer 2026 was more than just a season for SacredHand Canada. It was a journey filled with meaningful moments, stronger connections, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

From bringing families together at our community picnic and preparing students for a new school year, to visiting Parliament Hill, continuing our Annual Breakfast Club, supporting communities affected by Ontario’s wildfires, and standing together at the Race Against Racism, every moment reminded us why we do what we do.

Different events. Different communities. One shared purpose.

To uplift, empower, and create lasting change.

Sometimes, a simple interaction can inspire a lifetime of giving back.

For Aunty Razia Samdani, coming to Canada marked the beginning of a journey filled with connection, community, and service.

From finding her place in a new country to dedicating her time to helping others, Razia reminds us that purpose has no age limit. Her story is a beautiful reminder to keep moving forward, stay connected, and never underestimate the difference you can make, even at an old.

Because every senior has a story, a lesson, and a voice worth hearing.

Some people spend years giving back to their community without ever asking for recognition.

They show up, lend a helping hand, share their wisdom, and dedicate their time to making life better for those around them.

This National Seniors Day, SacredHand Canada wanted to do something simple but meaningful: show our appreciation.

We had the honour of visiting and recognizing some incredible seniors who have spent years serving and strengthening their communities. With flowers, certificates, and heartfelt gratitude, we wanted to remind them that their contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Yesterday, on National Seniors Day, we had the honour of celebrating our very own Razia Aunty (Razia Samdani) and Anwar Uncle (Muhammad Anwar ul Haq).

Today, we’re sharing special moments from that celebration a heartfelt thank-you for nearly 20 years of dedication, volunteer service, and support for SacredHand Canada and our community.

A special thank-you to Premier Doug Ford and Mayor Carolyn Parrish for sending greetings from their offices to honour them both.

Please join us in congratulating Razia Aunty and Anwar Uncle and thanking them for the many lives they have touched.

May the Creator bless you both with good health, happiness, and many beautiful years ahead.
