Today, Mississauga Community Church and Community & Family Services celebrated National Doughnut Day by sharing doughnuts and smiles with our community.

As part of our outreach efforts, we visited Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre and Sunrise Senior Living to connect with people and build relationships.

This special day has its roots in The Salvation Army’s ministry during the First World War, when doughnuts were served to soldiers on the front lines as a simple act of comfort, care, and encouragement.

We are grateful for the opportunity to continue that tradition of care and community today.
