SCF is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit, volunteer based organization providing settling services to new immigrants, landed immigrants and residents in Canada. Founded by Percy and Lavina Dastur, and Baljit and Tasleem Bawa, SCF has a global and secular perspective and is not affiliated with any particular religion, community, ethnic group or political party. o help new immigrants and residents in any activity affecting their daily life in Canada with the right information that would enable them make sound decisions which would ultimately result in helping them being settled in to the new land that they have embraced. Newcomers to Canada who come to our country with their rich and diverse backgrounds, experiences and cultures are incredible individuals who enrich Canada. Settling in Canada Foundation appreciates the treasured contributions immigrants make to Canada while also understanding the demanding challenges of settling in a new country. We work together through our volunteers to help immigrant Canadian’s realize the full potential of their lives in Canada.
