When winter temperatures drop below -40°C, a warm coat and sturdy boots aren't just nice to have. They're the difference between staying home and staying in school.

That's why we're raising funds this August to provide 200 Winter Kits. Each $100 CAD kit is packed with warm winter essentials that help children continue their education while experiencing the practical love of Christ.

Why are we talking about winter in the middle of August? ❄️

Because by the time the snow arrives in Mongolia, it's too late.

Every Winter Kit takes time to source, pack, and deliver before temperatures plunge below -40°C. That's why our summer campaign is so important. The support we receive now ensures children have warm coats, boots, hats, gloves, and other essentials before winter arrives—so they can continue attending school safely.

This month, Asian Outreach North America is raising funds for 200 Winter Kits. Each kit costs $100 CAD. Together with our global partners, we're believing for 1,000 children to stay warm, stay in school, and experience the love of Christ this winter.

Last winter, 12-year-old Narra walked through temperatures as low as -40°C wearing only sneakers. Thanks to a Winter Kit, he now has the warm clothing he needs to attend school safely. Through his local church, he also came to know the love of Christ and is now part of a caring faith community.

This year, Asian Outreach North America is raising funds for 200 Winter Kits. Each $100 CAD kit provides warm essentials that help a child stay in school while experiencing Christ's love.

Safe sanitation changes lives.

As part of Phase 4 in a Restricted Access Nation, our team continues long-term work supporting families and communities through practical care, leadership development, and hope through Christ. WASH is one important part of that mission.

This phase includes building 88 latrines at $275 CAD each — helping provide safer sanitation, improved health, and dignity for families and children.

Phase 4 of our work in a Restricted Access Nation continues a growing mission of empowering families, supporting communities, and bringing hope through Christ. One part of this phase includes providing 94 ceramic water filters at $67 CAD each.

Clean water changes everything 💧

Through our WASH initiative in a Restricted Access Nation, we are working to provide eight wells four vulnerable communities, each costing $2,700 CAD. This means safer water, healthier families, and renewed Hope for entire villages.

Three months. Multiple countries. One steady thread—faithfulness showing up again and again.

A huge highlight from our recent trip to Southeast Asia: celebrating the opening of a third new school in a Restricted Access Nation. What were once dilapidated buildings are now places of dignity, learning, and hope for the community.

Winter is finally easing in Mongolia, and we’re celebrating the impact of our 2025 Christmas in July campaign.

Children received warm clothing, essential winter gear, and a Message of Hope—helping them stay in school even through one of the harshest winters in the world.

Since the program began, a total of 5,819 children have received winter clothing, including 1,000 kits in 2025 alone.

Thank you for bringing warmth, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

Today we celebrate the birth of our Saviour—Emmanuel, God with us. In a world that often feels heavy, His arrival reminds us that true hope has a name, and that light shines brightest in the darkness.

As we reflect on Christ’s love, we are deeply grateful for each of you. Your prayers, generosity, and partnership make it possible to share that same hope with families across Asia—bringing dignity, restoration, and transformation to places that need it most.
