The clouds brought the rain, but our community brought the shine and showed up to support nature in the city at The Great Riverwood Hike!

It was a wet but wonderful day around Riverwood’s trails and natural spaces, where hikers engaged with nature activities, learned about wildlife, met our community partners, and finished off the day with a magnificent meal!

Collectively, hikers have raised over $12,000 (so far) for The Riverwood Conservancy’s conservation, education, gardening, and volunteer programs! Thank you so much for supporting the work we do to protect Riverwood’s natural environment and keep our community connected to nature.

Hike donations will be accepted until October 19, so there’s still time for you to make a difference for Riverwood.

Thank you again to all the hikers, donors, volunteers, and supporters who made this event so special. 💚

We just passed the $10,000 mark for funds raised for The Great Riverwood Hike! Thank you to all the incredible hikers and donors who helped us reach this mark!

We're aiming high for this year's Hike with an overall goal of raising $29,000 to keep our programs going strong -- and keep Riverwood the special park it is.

There's still time for you to join the movement to protect nature in the city! Register for the Hike or make a donation today: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/the-riverwood-conservancy/p2p/hike2026/
