June is Men’s Health Month

A reminder to every man: your health is your power. Strength is not just how much you can lift - it’s taking care of your body, your mind, and the people who count on you.

- Schedule your checkups
- Move your body
- Talk about how you’re feeling
- Prioritize rest

Healthy men build healthy families and healthy communities. Let’s make wellness a priority this month (and every month!)

During National Indigenous History Month, we recognize and celebrate the strength, knowledge, and resilience of Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island.

We encourage our community to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful reflection as we continue our journey toward reconciliation. Honouring the past helps us build a more respectful and inclusive future.

Today is World Day Against Child Labour.

Children deserve safety, education, and the chance to thrive. No child should ever be forced to work at the expense of their health, dignity, or future.

Together, we raise our voices to protect children’s rights and support global efforts to end child labour.

June 11 2026 – International Day of Play!
Protect play, protect childhood.

Established by the United Nations General Assembly and celebrated annually on June 11, the International Day of Play recognizes the critical role of play in supporting children's health, learning, development, and well-being. It is a global call for governments, institutions, communities, and families to prioritize play in everyday life.

The 2026 theme, "Protect Play, Protect Childhood," reminds us that happy, healthy childhoods are built on play. Every day, we are committed to creating environments where play is affirmed, celebrated, nurtured, and protected.
