Thanksgiving Donations for the Food Bank

This Thanksgiving Sunday, October 11, 2026 we invite you to bring your non-perishable food items for the local food bank.

These items will be used in a special Thanksgiving display at the front of the sanctuary.
If anyone has produce from your garden that can be used for the display bring it along.
We will just borrow it and then you can take it home with you.
As we join for worship on Sunday let us all experience an act of generosity that will help easy food insecurity for others in the coming days.

10 AM Sunday, October 11, 2026: Thanksgiving Sunday
This Sunday we celebrate Thanksgiving, an opportunity to reflect on what God has done for us and to give thanks. Giving thanks is a spiritual practice, it is not just something we do on Thanksgiving. St. Paul writes: “Give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thess. 5:18) What are some ways we can incorporate this into our day to day lives? Let us come together and practice giving God thanks.
We hope you can join us in-person, or if unable, please watch the livestream service: https://www.youtube.com/live/5dj8gT4zU0A?si=JZAMOfGjqehWG_HI
