What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Today, we honour and remember our founder, **William (Orest) Gaye** (December 4, 1936 – January 10, 2025), whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for everything we do.

Through his tireless efforts, Willie ensured that the Knights 12372 Charitable Foundation was properly registered with the CRA, allowing us to serve our community with transparency and purpose. He directed our early support toward impactful initiatives like **Chalice**, an international child sponsorship charity, and **Leaders of Tomorrow**, a student essay contest that inspired young minds and rewarded excellence with scholarships and prizes.

His legacy continues to guide our mission. In recent years, the Foundation has hosted events and provided financial support for **The Compass Food Bank**, **Hospice Mississauga**, **Mind Forward Brain Injury Services**, **Covenant House Toronto**, and other local charities.

Willie believed deeply in uplifting others. We carry his passion forward with gratitude and commitment.
