Our 2026 Impact Report is here!
This summer was more meaningful than I can put into words. During Turtle Island Charity’s first full year of operations, we had the honour of delivering programming in three First Nations communities across Ontario and Saskatchewan—reaching approximately 85 children and youth between the ages of 3 and 15.
Together, we explored culture, sport, art, STEM, environmental science, and land-based learning. We were also supported by approximately nine local community collaborators who helped guide our activities and ensure that each program reflected the community’s priorities, knowledge, and realities.
The numbers matter, but they only tell part of the story. What I will remember most is the kindness of everyone we met, the joy and curiosity of the children, and the relationships we were privileged to build.
To every community member, Knowledge Keeper, Elder, volunteer, partner, funder, and donor who welcomed us and believed in this work: thank you. None of this would have been possible without you.
