We introduce the African Canadian Women Engagement Society's New Horizons for Seniors program, a community initiative dedicated to supporting seniors through healthy aging, social connection, mental wellness, and community engagement. We discuss how loneliness and isolation affect many seniors today, and how our program creates safe spaces where seniors feel heard, respected, and valued through interactive activities, wellness conversations, and social gatherings. We encourage everyone to check on their elders and recognize that healing often begins with one meaningful conversation.

The African Canadian Women Engagement Society (ACWES) is proud to collaborate in this year’s Black History Month Pop-Up hosted by Jane & Finch’s Finest and Culture Power Inc.
