Arwen will be joining us for our Fabulous Fall Finds event to share mending, embroidery and sewing skills, the importance of circular economies and repair! Bring an item from home to embroider and repair to make it uniquely or something new you find at the event.

1 WEEK AWAY! Swipe for more info ➡

Are you looking to clear space in your closet, sustainably mend your favourite clothes and buy less? Join us on August 29th at 67 Hillcrest Ave to find clean and lightly used clothing, shoes, toys and games for ALL AGES at our Fabulous Fall Finds event! If you find items that you want to add embroidery to, or if you don’t find anything but want to repair something from home, Arwen will be hosting a mending table.

Our partners will also be there to accept donations of non-perishable food, electronic waste with , and giveaway household waste like paint, WD40 and more (while supplies last) with .ca. Check out the link in bio for more details on what to bring and expect!

As Ukrainian Independence Day approaches on August 24th, we want to celebrate this significant occasion with our Ukrainian community! This day commemorates Ukraine’s Declaration of Independence from the Soviet Union in 1991 and offers a moment to reflect on the nation's rich cultural heritage and spirit. Our Ukrainian friends celebrate Independence this weekend up to Aug 24th, which is the official day of independence.

What E-Waste can you donate? Swipe to find out!

Let's Get Together () is joining us for our Fabulous Fall Finds event to collect used, broken and unwanted electronic waste to safely recycle and circulate it back to the community. Join us and bring an electronic you no longer use to contribute to our circular economy.

Accepted Items:
Laptops, desktops and monitors, consumer electronics like gaming consoles, tablets, phones, printers, webcams, laptop bags, cables and household batteries.

Fabulous Fall Finds - Call for donations

We are hosting a clothing & toy swap and need your donations to make this circular economy event happen!

When? Saturday August 29th, 11AM to 3PM
Where? 67 Hillcrest Avenue

We will be accepting clothing, clothes hangers, toy and games donations for us to exchange at the event (see photos for what to bring). Donations are being accepting during weekly Heart Comonos programs until the 29th, or bring your items on the day of the event.

Let's Get Together! will join us to collect your electronic waste like laptops and phones.

There will be a table for non-perishable food donations too, bring your cans!

Thank you to the Region of Peel for funding this initiative through their Circular Economy Grant. We hope to see you all there!

WOW! Bike Day Highlight ➡

We can't believe it's been 1 month since our Bike Fix Up and Giveaway Day event! Countless people joined us on July 11th for a chance to win one of 130 bicycles and get their bikes tuned up by volunteer mechanics.

This event was not possible without the help of our dedicated volunteer team, our community partners like , , , , (and more!) and our storage provider, Access Storage ().
