Hi all! I have been the Social Media director for the Mission Soapbox for the past 10+ years. Watching the kids race, planning the day and being part of the team has been a very worthwhile experience!! At our final meeting before the AGM, I gave notice that I am vacating my position. This is one of the positions opening up for this year.

If you have any interest in participating or being on board, please come to the AGM on October 30th at 6:30pm at Boston Pizza Mission.

While I sign off for the last time, please keep an eye out for more information and give grace if messages aren’t answered as quickly. (There are a few scheduled posts coming).

🌭 **HOT DOG ALERT!** 🌭

The **Mission and District Soapbox Derby Association** is **fired up** (literally, the grill is ready 🔥) for our **Hot Dog Sale TOMORROW**!

📍 **Where:** Mission FreshCo
🕚 **When:** 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Come grab a tasty hot dog, say hi to our amazing volunteers, and support our community’s favorite **soapbox racing event**! 🚗💨

Skip lunch at home, bring the whole family, and help us raise funds while enjoying some *top-tier, expertly crafted hot dogs* (with just the right amount of ketchup and community spirit).

🌭 **Hot Dogs + Soapbox Derby = One Delicious Fundraiser!** 🌭

This **Friday, September 26** from **11 AM – 3 PM**, the **Mission and District Soapbox Derby crew** will be at **FreshCo Mission** serving up hot dogs that are *almost* as speedy as our racers! 🏎️💨

Come grab a bite, say hi, and support a great community event.

Whether you like your hot dog plain, loaded with toppings, or somewhere in between, we promise they’ll **ketchup** with your taste buds. 😉

All proceeds help keep the Soapbox Derby rolling for another amazing year!

Mission Soapbox Derby Association is going to be starting weekly bottle pickup services from 12-5 pm on Tuesdays starting next week. If you have any bottles to donate, please let the president @ [email protected] know.

All proceeds from the bottles collected will go towards next year’s race.

All’s quiet on the homefront but not for long!!!

Soapbox Board Members are getting ready to head back to the meeting table to plan next year’s race (July 4, 2026).

If you are a volunteer with us this year, and would like to continue or even better join the board - keep an eye out for the AGM announcement happening soon!
