Registration for the Summer Program is now open. I will need your child's name and age and the days that you want them at the program. It runs from June 29 - August 21. Monday to Friday 9 am to 3 pm. I can take up to 25 kids, and it will be a first come first serve basis. Please private message me so I have the information

I am pleased to announce that we will be doing our Summer Program again this year for kids aged 5-12. The program will start June 29 - August 22 with the exception on July 1, there will be no program that day. Please stay tuned for sign ups, they will begin Next Week

There will be a council meeting May 25th, 2026 @ 6pm @ the Municipal Office 15 Main Dr E for the 1st reading of the Amendments to the Code of Conduct and Election Bylaw. If anyone would like a copy of the bylaws being read please contact the office 902-436-4962

The Town of Pictou has released a public notice regarding a revised Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) by-law.

Off-highway vehicles were first permitted to travel within the downtown area as part of a pilot project that began in April 2025.

Following a review of the pilot at a Committee of Council meeting on May 4, 2026, Council discussed the results of the program over the past year. A revised draft by-law was then presented, proposing to expand OHV access to include all streets and roads within town limits.

At the Regular Council meeting on May 19, Council approved first reading of the revised by-law.

Residents and members of the public are invited to provide feedback to the Mayor, Council, or CAO. Public input will be accepted until the second reading of the by-law at the June 15 Regular Council meeting.
