4:05 am all you hear are the birds, the low humm of generators around town still pumping water out of crawl spaces and basements... Such a contrast to the buzz of activity you hear all day long, as my community continues to dig out and tries to recover from the catastrophe that hit us a mere 8 days ago... Everyone has pulled together like one big family... But every family seems to have that one black sheep... Ours is stealing gas and personal items from us in our worste possible moment.. So you may have seen me with a spotlight driving around tonight, just out looking for our little lost sheep, no one likes to be alone... Minitonas is a strong community and we have shown everyone that in the past few days. WE WILL BOUNCE BACK FROM THIS STRONGER THEN WE EVER WERE... We will be doing a Town Clean up this year date yet to be determined as we would like it to dry up some more.. But a concern was brought to my attention this evening that the route the kids walk to school was littered with medicine bottles and smoke pack so myself and Brooklynn another member went over and got it cleaned up before the kids are walking to school Monday... If you see anything like this please dont hesitate to get ahold of us....
