NOW ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS 📣

The Miniota & Area Foundation is now accepting applications for funding from any charitable, cultural, education or recreational organizations in the area, and wishes to invite anyone who holds a Revenue Canada Charitable Registration number to submit an application.

Grant decisions will be made by the board in accordance with the Foundation objectives and guidelines.

Completed applications for funding will be received until December 12th, 2025 by email to [email protected] or being mailed to PO Box 70 Miniota, MB R0M 1M0.

Please feel free to share with any groups/organizations you think may be interested.

Congratulations to our 2024 Miniota + Area Foundation grant recipient - the Miniota Facility Enhancement Committee. They will receive $1500 towards their project of expanding and updating our local Community Centre!

If you are looking for a good cause to donate to, or a way to give back this holiday season, the Miniota + Area Foundation is a great way to keep your dollars in our community, supporting the projects that help us grow and thrive.

As the funds within the foundation continue to grow, we can continue to help more and more committees and organizations see their projects through from year to year.

Some of the recent projects we've been able to contribute to the past couple years financially are:
-roof repairs to the Miniota Museum
-equipment purchased for upkeep of the Parkissimo Lodge
-updates to the Miniota Community Center
-equipment purchased for betterment of the Drop-In Center via Miniota Services for Seniors

Donations to the Miniota + Area Foundation can be made by mail to Box 70 c/o Miniota + Area Foundation, in-person at the Miniota Municipal Office, or via e-transfer to [email protected].

*donors will receive a charitable tax donation receipt for all donations made

It is that time of year again!

The Miniota & Area Foundation is now accepting applications for funding from any charitable, cultural, education or recreational organizations in the area, and wishes to invite anyone who holds a Revenue Canada Charitable Registration number to submit an application.
