Looking for a challenge during the Central Manitoulin Lions Homecoming Weekend? The Mindemoya Classic Run-Paddle-Pedal returns on Sunday, July 5, 2026, offering a unique multi-sport adventure on beautiful Lake Mindemoya. Participants can compete solo or as part of a team in this exciting event that combines a 5.5 km run, 3 km paddle, and 13 km bike ride. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking for a fun way to wrap up the weekend, there’s a category for everyone.

Hosted by Breakaway Sports and organized by volunteers, the Mindemoya Classic is a great way to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and support youth sports and cycling on Manitoulin. Make it part of your Homecoming Weekend plans and experience one of Manitoulin’s most unique summer events!

There's a bus available for this Gavin Rousseau event! This event is a multi-Lions Club fundraiser for scope equipment for Manitoulin Hospitals.
Fare is $15.00 round trip. Pick up people in South Baymouth, Manitowaning arena and Little Current at the Information Centre.
