Let’s offer our holistic selves the care and recognition we deserve, not just today, but every day.
Grief is a natural response to loss, and it can touch our mental health in ways both seen and unseen. If you’re carrying grief, be gentle with yourself. Trust your own pace, honour your feelings, and remember that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
Our Grief Support Program at VON is here to support you. If you’re looking for connection or guidance, please reach out to Chelsea at 705-690-3873 or [email protected]

The Victorian Order of Nurses is a compassionate presence for individuals and families navigating grief and loss in Espanola and Manitoulin Island.
Our Grief & Bereavement Support program understands that healing isn't about rushing through pain—it's about having someone walk alongside you during one of life's most challenging journeys.
✨ *"Companioning is about being present to another person's pain; it is not about taking away the pain."*
Whether you've recently lost a loved one or are continuing to process grief, you don't have to go through it alone. Our trained support team is here to listen, understand, and companion you with compassion and care.
Alzheimer's Awareness Month is a time to raise awareness, challenge stigma and support those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
