🍎 **CARLISLE, IT’S APPLE DAY!** 🍎

The 1st Carlisle Scout Group will be out in the community on the evening of **Friday, October 16**, and from 9-12 on **Saturday, October 17** for our annual Scouts Canada Apple Day!

Our Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts , Venturer Scouts and Scouters will be out at the Bakery, LCBO, and Arena offering apples as a small thank-you to the Carlsile community for its continued support of local Scouting.

❤️ **We’re not selling apples — we’re saying thank you!**

Donations help our youth enjoy camps, outdoor adventures, equipment and activities throughout the Scouting year, while keeping the program affordable for local families. Can’t make it out? You can donate online at https://tinyurl.com/1stcarlisle.

For one of our last meetings of the season the Colony and Pack traveled to Kelso Conservation Area in Milton to try out their Challenge Course.

The Escarpment Walk is an aerial high ropes course that tests your balance, coordination and courage as weu traversed the climbing elements. The Vulture’s View is a climbing tower with three walls, each with many different elements and features that will too the youth than 45 ft in the air.

Last weekend Cub Scouts from across Burlington, Carlisle, Oakville, and into Mississauga gathered at Camp Manitou for a Jungle-themed weekend of fun activities including the infamous waterslide!

June invites us to reflect on what it means to build a Scouting community rooted in belonging.

As we move through the month, we’ll be recognizing Pride Month, Indigenous History Month, and National AccessAbility Week, while continuing to learn how we can create more welcoming spaces for all.

These moments matter, and so does the everyday work of showing up for one another with care, curiosity, and respect.
