Our dedicated inclusion services resource consultants were thrilled to join over 300 early childhood professionals at the ECRCNO 2026 provincial conference!☀️🦋

Gathered at the beautiful White Oaks Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this year’s theme was The Essence of Excellence: Getting Back to What Matters (People, Practice, and Purpose). Our team dove deep into critical sessions focused on inclusion, wellness, and special needs resourcing.

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to listen, learn, and honour the rich histories, cultures, and strength of Indigenous peoples.

At CLNH, building a truly inclusive community means understanding the history of the land we gather on, including the Treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee.

We encourage our staff, families, and partners to engage with Indigenous histories, support local Indigenous creators, and reflect on how we can all be better allies. 🧡

As Community Living Month 2026 comes to a close, we look back on an incredible month of celebration, awareness, and community connection. 💙💚

We were absolutely honoured to join Mayor Gord Krantz for the official proclamation and flag-raising ceremony at Milton Town Hall! Seeing our flag fly high is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together toward true inclusion.

A massive THANK YOU to Mayor Krantz, the Town of Milton, and our amazing community for your unwavering support. Your recognition of Community Living North Halton’s mission, vision, and values helps us continue building a community where everyone belongs and can thrive. Safety first, independence always! 💪🚒

Last week, some of our supported individuals visited the Milton Fire & Rescue Services Headquarters for a hands-on station tour.

Beyond the excitement of sitting in the fire truck, everyone participated in a valuable lesson on home fire safety tailored for independent living.

We love seeing our folks gain the tools they need to thrive safely in their homes. Thank you to Milton’s bravest for the warm welcome and the vital education!

On Friday May 22, the Voice Committee hosted their car wash & hot dog bbq fundraiser and what a success it was! We had an absolute dream team washing cars, holding signs, grilling on the bbq, and volunteers helping it all run smoothly 🚗🫧🧼🌭

Thank you to everyone that drove through and supported the VC and United Way Golden Horseshoe, this is what community is all about! Your support means the world to us and helps us to create a more inclusive and vibrant community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we are making a real difference! 💙💚
