Summer Ice Cream Nights at Halton County Radial Railway! 🚃 🍨

What a wonderful evening spent at this special gem in Milton, the streetcar museum is filled with rich history and interactive train rides for anyone to come and visit all year round!

And whats better than ending off your ride with a big ice cream? Thank you Halton County Radial Railway and your whole team for having us and giving us a chance to bring our communities together 💙

For Avni’s family, caregiving is 24/7, 365 days a year and it means never truly turning off your radar.

That is where CLNH’s children’s respite program has stepped in and truly changed their story. For two Saturday’s a month, Avni attends our respite program and her father Navin describes those Saturday’s for his daughter as “pure magic✨, she doesn’t just attend, she lights up for it!”

Avni gets to spend time outdoors, connect with her peers, and be surrounded by incredible caregivers who accept her completely, but respite means just as much to Navin and his wife.

After Avni was born in 2014, they didn’t have a dinner date alone for nearly 9 years. Since starting the program, those 2 Saturday’s a month gave them “a lifeline… a chance to breathe, rest and reconnect to continue to be the best parents we can possibly be”.

Navin and his wife said amongst the beautiful chaos of their daily lives, the chaos they love and own, this respite program is a true breath of fresh air and a splash of sunshine. ☀️

Day trip to Niagara Falls! 🌊☀️

Our Milton/Georgetown day program is soaking up the last weeks of the summer by visiting one of the 7 wonders of the world. The group engaged in all the Niagara must do’s like Niagara City Cruise, wax museum and haunted houses.

Thank you to everyone who came out in supporting our 30th annual Ray Forde Memorial Golf Tournament at Pipers Heath! It was a gorgeous day of golf, giving back, and supporting the community.

Together, we raised vital funds for our Children’s Recreation & Leisure Program while keeping Ray’s legacy alive 💙
