Good evening Campers!!

If you are on your way to camp this evening, please approach camp from Conservation Road and not via Derry road as some vehicles slid off Twiss road during the storm today and crews are working on getting them pulled out of the ditches.

Stay safe everyone!

This afternoon our Rangers arrived on site to open the camp for the weekend and welcome our groups that are staying over for the weekend to discover that Mac Lodge had two broken windows!

Ranger Chris investigated and discovered that the cause of the break-in was our lovely friend Gary the Grouse!

Gary normally lives down by Cub Council Rock but decided that the warmth of Mac Lodge was far more appealing than his forest and broke into the lodge...

Ranger Chris and Jr. Ranger Nova were able to remove Gary safely from the lodge and Ranger Ed came up to help board up the window.

Gary has received a stern talking to from Jr. Ranger Nova and has returned to his forest by Cub Council Rock.

Have a great weekend campers and stay warm!

Good afternoon campers!

We have a very exciting new addition to the camp!

We have partnered with Backed By Bees and will be hosting a roughly 2 million bee colony at camp!

Our new friends will be arriving this summer but we are excited to announce that we will soon have jars of honey, honey sticks and pollinator badges available for purchase at the Rice Cabin in the parking lot!

We are excited to be working with Backed By Bees and are thrilled to have our new bee friends move into camp and help keep our camp grounds happy and healthy!

Keep on Adventuring!

What a snow fall we had today!

Our toboggan hills are ready to go and our hiking trails are beautifully covered with the fresh snow!

Remember, you can book a campfire meeting at camp and enjoy the snow on k**b hill or a beautiful hike around the pines and see what animal tracks you can find!

Be sure to book your campfire today via Double Knot!

Good afternoon campers!

This past weekend at Co-Op Camp at Camp Manitou we had the pleasure of showing off our newly constructed obstacle course!

A massive thank you to all the Scouters who came out to help build it! Also, thank you to Scouter Colin for all the coordination efforts, building days and hard work that went into this course!

The course is usable for any groups that are staying at Manitou for the weekend and is located just off of Games Field!

Were looking forward to improving, adding and expanding on the course to keep your eyes open for upcoming work days!
