Ontario Tree Climbing Championship OTCC 2027 - TBC These 2 top climbers go on to compete at the North American and then the International Tree Climbing Championship the following summer.

The Ontario Tree Climbing Championship takes place every September and features 5 preliminary events: a work climb, belayed speed climb, simulated aerial rescue, ascent event and throw line challenge. The top 4 men and top 2 women competitors from the preliminaries advance to the Master’s Challenge, a final event where the Ontario Men’s and Women’s Champion are crowned. A trade show with arborist equipment is featured and spectators can attend this free event, as well as try climbing like an arborist in the “Climb For All Ages” under the guidance of a professional arborist. OTCC 2026 was nothing short of a BLAST! 🧨🔥

From exciting competition to endless fun, you all made every minute count. A HUGE thank you to our competitors, committee, volunteers, staff, sponsors and vendors - we couldn't do this without you!
