About FIRST Robotics Team # 3571:
Our FIRST Robotics Team is consisted of around 30 students from grade 9-12 with several mentors. The students are split up into fields in order to perform maximum efficiency, the fields that they are split up into are; Manufacturing, Programming, Robot Design, Website Design/ Media Coverage, and many more. Each of these fields are are responsible for what they ar
e suppose to do in order to meet the deadline. With captains in each field, they are there to share their knowledge to students who may need it. Our head mentor, Mr. Cino, teaches all the students the information that they need for them to be successful building these machines. Since the beginning of 2011, we have grown as a team and also as a school. In the 3 years experience we have been in the quarter finals but we haven't had any luck, but that didn’t stop us, it made us work harder and harder every year. Classes throughout the school has been growing with us, we’ve been lucky enough to have different teachers throughout the school from different departments to help us with this competition, Physics teachers assigning task to their students, also have media teachers helping us with media coverage, also have our lead mentor, Mr.Cino, leading everything also being a teacher full day, including Period 6 which runs after school and also our night school which runs Tuesday & Thursdays after period 6 to 8pm at night, and Saturdays from 8am-4pm. We have been lucky enough for our team members, mentors, teachers, also the school board to help us grow to this day. As Milton District likes to say, “GO Mustangs!!!”
