The Fall Epic 8 Hour Mountain Bike Relay is back, bringing together everything we love about mountain biking, camaraderie, sportsmanship, competition and a great day on the trails!

The challenge is simple: complete as many laps as possible on the 10 km course before the 8 hours are up. Take on the challenge solo or gather your crew and race as a 2-person, 3–4 person or 5–6 person team, taking turns out on course throughout the day.

Whether you’re chasing the podium, challenging yourself to see how many laps you can complete, or simply looking for an unforgettable day of riding with friends, the Epic 8 Hour has something for everyone. 💪🚴

Ride for safer roads this September!

The 2026 Share the Road Gran Fondo returns to Milton on September 20th for a fully supported ride through the beautiful Halton Hills, all in support of building safer roads and stronger communities across Ontario.

Starting and finishing at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, riders can choose from 40 km, 80 km or 110 km routes, with fully marked courses, rest stops to keep you fuelled and hydrated, on-road police support, and a post-ride meal and refreshments waiting at the finish. 🚲

This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the ride, which honours the memory of OPP Sergeant Greg Stobbart, whose tragic death while cycling in 2006 inspired the creation of the Share the Road Cycling Coalition.

Join the ride and help make Ontario’s roads safer and more welcoming for everyone who rides.

Introducing Pedal to the Podium!

Ontario Cycling is excited to launch Pedal to the Podium, a new talent identification and development program designed to introduce young athletes to the exciting world of track cycling!

Open to athletes ages 14–16 with a background in organized sport, the program gives participants the opportunity to transfer their existing athletic skills to the bike while receiving coaching, training and racing experience at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre.

And the best part? No cycling experience is needed!

Whether you come from running, swimming, soccer, hockey, football or another sport, you may already have what it takes to excel on the track.
