A reminder for parents during sports season:

Coaches are volunteers.

Volunteers.

Not paid.
Not doing this because they have extra free time.
Not showing up because it’s easy.

They’re leaving work, missing dinners, giving up nights and weekends, dealing with schedules, attitudes, weather, and a hundred opinions from the stands…

all to coach your child.

Because they care.

Because someone has to step up.

Because without volunteers, a lot of these teams wouldn’t exist at all.

We’re excited to kick off our first season of Little Sluggers!

Here are the program details:

Day: Tuesdays
Time: 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Outfield at Maple Leaf Park
Dates: May 19 to July 21

This program focuses on team building, learning how to be part of a team environment, and staying active in a fun and supportive setting. It’s all about creating a positive first experience around sport and movement.

No baseball gear is required. Players do not need to bring gloves or equipment—just come ready to move and have fun!

Each participant will also receive a Little Sluggers t-shirt as part of the program.

Please arrive a few minutes early each week so we can start right at 6:15 PM. Be sure your child brings a water bottle and is dressed for the weather.
