Broad Cove Community Association The BCCA cares for the Broad Cove Hall and serve as stewards of the Broad Cove Beach and adjacent lands.

Guided by a spirit of volunteerism we work to preserve these shared spaces for connection, recreation, and reflection A place to play by the seaside, our vintage hall is known for its great acoustics and good times!

Good news Broad Cove residents!
We’re pleased to let you know that the south side of the community hall is now having the old shingles removed and the new siding installed. This will complete the exterior siding of the hall.
This project was made possible through a MODL grant, ongoing fundraising as well as with lots of volunteer hours!!!
Thanks for your ongoing support of our community hall.

This year we will be adding a Plant Sale to our annual Bake Sale!
Baked goods, sweets, preserves with indoor & outdoor plants.
(We were told Shelley is volunteering to dig up plants you would like to donate 🪴🪏 )
Donations will be received on Saturday June 20th from 1-3pm
Come on the Sunday to get your treats & plants before they go!

Last night was held the first Talk on Renewable Energy.
We had 2 very interesting presentations from Renewall Energy and Maritime Solar. There were very good questions and exchanges with the speakers, people shared their experience living off-grid, others shared their process of installing and living with solar panels.

Renewall who’s mission is to
“develop clean, renewable energy for everyone”. presented the Mersey River Wind Project.

Maritime Solar presented the benefits and costs of Solar Panels while exchanging with members in the audience who also shared some of their knowledge and own experience.

Obviously, we can’t resume everything that was shared, but it’s quite obvious there is a need to connect, share and learn from each other.
