Congratulations Civitan Margaret Tynan

The George Jackson Self-Advocacy Award honours the legacy of George Jackson, a passionate self-advocate, Rights Trainer, and former president of the CLH Self-Advocates Council. George helped create more respectful and inclusive language for people supported by CLH.

This award recognizes individuals who advance self-advocacy, promote inclusion, and advocate for the rights of people with developmental support needs through their leadership, advocacy, and everyday actions. We are so pleased to share that this year's deserving recipient of the George Jackson Self-Advocacy Award is Margaret. 🌟

A huge thank you to Margaret for the impact she creates, the voices she uplifts, and for her unwavering commitment to belonging. Congratulations! 💜
