Nicola Valley Health Care Auxiliary The Nicola Valley Health Care Auxiliary is a non-profit volunteer organization supporting healthcare.

The NVHCA volunteers, customers, and the generous people who drop off their donations enrich our community by providing a source of revenue to support healthcare. The NVHCA also benefits our community:
- donate clothing and household items to families and individuals in need
- offer scholarship/bursaries to worthy students entering the healthcare field
- provide summer employment fo

r students
- operate the 'coffee wagon' at the NV General Hospital for the patients
- and continue to engage in activities and support programs that add to the wellness of Merritt and
the Nicola Valley.

With the summer weather upon us the Thrift Shop has been stocked up with bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts, blouses and summer dresses. We also have a good selection of men’s shorts and shirts, as well as children’s summer wear.

We also have many hand made washable bags made from T-shirts for just $1 each.

Check it out tomorrow at 10 am. See you then.

Good evening Merritt, we are pleased to announce that the Thrift Shop will resume operations on Tuesday at 10 am. Our volunteers have been diligently restocking and refreshing our inventory with an assortment of kitchen items, books, linens, and an extensive selection of summer clothing for men, ladies, and children.

We also would like to extend our gratitude to our generous donors and valued customers whom enable us to support local community initiatives. Our contributions support vital services such as the 1st responders in Merritt, the Nicola Valley Hospital, Gillis House, and Nicola Therapy. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to serving you tomorrow.

We also have many name brand men’s golf shirts and shorts.

This week, The Thrift Shop proudly presents a diverse range of ladies' plus-size clothing, offering many beautiful pieces to add to your wardrobe. For the best selection, we suggest shopping early. The store has been refreshed. Menswear is still on display, with shoes, shirts, and short for summer. We also have a golf bag and a few golf clubs, along with some safety vest for those that might need them in this summer heat. A few things for the grads are on display at the front.

Hope you all had a great long weekend. We are open tomorrow Tuesday, May 19th at 10 am. We have a men’s rack that offers shirts and shorts for the warm weather. We also have bathing suits and cover ups, along with a great selection of shoes, hats and scarves! A good selection of toys for the children. Still lots of crystal to adorn your tables and for the collectors. Drop in and browse.
