Even though the weather was not the best, all the Christmas baskets were delivered today. A great big thank you to our divers and to our people packing the vehicles. Thank you.
Also, we owe a large thank you to our donators. Ridge Landfill Community Trust, Evolugen-Raleigh Wind Farm. Merlin Legion. Knights of Columbus Council 11891, Merlin Masons, Merlin Fire Station 17, Summers Gold Honey, Thompsons Apple Orchard, Tracy Benn, Authier Print & Promotional.
A huge thank you to all the churches that collected food, clothing and toys. To Merlin Area Public School for the sock drive, and food collection. Merlin Legion for the food and toy collection, Jonas and Elizabeth Cook for the food and toy collection.
Thank you to every single food, financial and clothing donator.
Thank you to our drivers for picking up donations.
Thank you to all our packers that packed each and every basket as well.
Thank you to Tim Hirtons Tilbury for the coffee and Timbits.
Thank you to our cook who helped make lunch for our volunteers as well. She does a lot for our little village.
And last but not least all our great volunteers that did the heavy work including everyone on the Community Assistance Board for putting this together and doing all the behind-the-scenes work.

These forms will be coming out in the mail the week of November 10th. If you need help, fill out the back and mail it in. If there is a postal disruption, please watch this page for updates.
If you can help donate food, clothes or toys please leave out on your porch if you are in Merlin Fletcher or Dealtown. We will be more than happy to pick them up off your porch on November 22nd, between 12 and 2 pm. If you live in the country there are different drop off areas that you could use. They are all on the form.

We would like to give a huge thanks to all the volunteers that helped pack and deliver baskets! Unfortunately due to the disruption in mail service, some of the applications may have been received late or not at all. To those who feel they still need some help this year, the excess food that was donated to this year’s basket program was donated to the Merlin Food Bank. We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Merlin Community Assistance would like to thank the churches in our area who either were a drop off location or collected on Sundays for our Christmas baskets.
Also, a special thank you to Dillon Consulting, The Jonas Cook family, Merlin Area Public School and the many families that donated to our Christmas baskets.
With out you we would not be able to help those in need at Christmas.
