Hello! My name is Nicoly.

I am currently a student at Medicine Hat College and will be entering my second year of the Business Administration program. Over the past year, I had the opportunity to represent Medicine Hat College as a member of both the soccer and futsal teams.

I am originally from Brazil and moved to Canada to continue my education and experience new opportunities. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and staying active through sports.

I love spending time with children and helping create fun and positive experiences for them. I am very excited to spend time with all of you this summer!

Hi everyone! My name is João Cintra!

I am currently entering my second year in the Business Management program at Medicine Hat College.

I am originally from Brazil and have always loved sports, especially soccer. Over the past two years, I have proudly represented MHC on both the soccer and futsal teams while enjoying being part of the amazing Medicine Hat community.

Last year, I had the opportunity to coach with the Medicine Hat Soccer Association, working with children from different age groups. I am excited to be returning for my second consecutive summer as a Rattlers Camp Leader.

I love working with children and helping create fun experiences and amazing memories. I am looking forward to another great summer filled with activities, learning, and lots of fun!!

Hello! My name is Jessica Philpott.

I am currently a fourth-year Education student at Medicine Hat College and have always been passionate about sports and working with children. Through my studies, I have had the opportunity to work with students of different ages and have assisted in coaching a variety of sports, gaining valuable experience working with youth in both educational and recreational settings.

I grew up playing a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball, badminton, track and field, and ringette. Being involved in sports has taught me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and having fun while staying active.

As a future teacher, I am passionate about working with children and helping them build confidence, develop new skills, and have positive experiences. I am looking forward to meeting you all this summer and helping create a fun, active, and memorable camp experience!

Hi there! I'm Maddy Harpell, and I am so excited to share that I just graduated with my Education degree from Medicine Hat College this year! I have been a proud part of the college community for several years. Throughout my academic journey, I had the honor of representing the college on the women's soccer and futsal teams.

Beyond playing sports, I've dedicated over seven years to coaching at the Medicine Hat Soccer Association, working with diverse age groups ranging from three-year-olds all the way up to 18-year-olds. Additionally, I have been an instructor at the Notre Dame Soccer Academy for several years, with another great school year on the horizon.

While soccer holds a significant place in my life, I also enjoy watching and playing various other sports. Hockey and football are constants in my household during their seasons. Outside of that, I love hiking, playing catch, golfing, and seeking out new adventures.

I'm thrilled to be returning for another fantastic year with MHC summer camps! After thoroughly enjoying my time as a leader over the past several summers, I'm eagerly anticipating another incredible summer filled with fun and memorable experiences!

Hello! My name is Christina Douvis. I was born and raised in Medicine Hat and attended the Medicine Hat College for 2 years before transferring to the University of Lethbridge. I am currently pursuing dual Bachelor degrees in Education and Fine Arts in Lethbridge.

I have grown up playing a variety of sports such as golf, badminton, soccer, competitive swimming, volleyball, and dance, but nothing compares to my love of tennis. I strongly believe in the importance of physical activity in youth and the numerous mental and physical benefits it provides.

This is my 4th year as a camp counselor at the Medicine Hat College. As a future teacher, I am passionate about working with children to help them find success in the endeavours they pursue! I look forward to meeting you all this summer!

Hi everyone!

My name is Chloe Thomas and I’m so excited to be returning for my second year as a camp leader at the Rattlers Camps! I’m looking forward to another great summer filled with games, sports, and plenty of fun.

This fall, I’ll be heading into the final year of my Bachelor of Elementary Education at the University of Alberta. I completed the first two years of my degree in Medicine Hat and am happy to be back. My goal is to become a teacher who inspires children to be active, curious, and confident especially through physical activity.
I grew up playing a variety of sports, including basketball, tennis, golf, and ringette, and I continue to stay active through hiking, pilates, and trips to the driving range. I can’t wait to meet all of you and have an incredible summer full of fun, learning, and lots of play!

Hello, my name is Myles! I’m a 4th-year Education student at Medicine Hat College and a player on the Rattlers soccer team. I also coach soccer with the Medicine Hat Soccer Association, where I work with younger athletes and help them build their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Through both playing and coaching, I’ve learned a lot about teamwork, leadership, and creating a positive environment for others. I enjoy staying active, being outdoors, and working with kids in a way that helps them feel included and have fun. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of the campers this summer!

Hi everyone! My name is Kayley Thompson, and I’m so excited to be back for another summer at camp!

I’m currently going into my fourth (and final) year of the Education program at Medicine Hat College, and this will be my third year as a camp leader. I love creating a fun, active environment where everyone can try new things, build confidence, and have an amazing time.

When I’m not at camp, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and spending time outdoors, so camp is the perfect place for me!

I can’t wait to meet all of you, play lots of sports, make this an awesome summer, and see some familiar faces again!
