African Canadian Association of Medicine Hat, also known as ACAOM, aims to promote more awareness and better understanding of challenges in regards to social, moral, financial and cultural differences within the African community in Medicine Hat. As well as provide resources which would be used in the enhancement of the community's social integration and economic success. ACCOM will also develop a
nd coordinate programs and services for African youths to help minimize and/or prevent peer pressure or self-indulgence that would lead them to activities which would hinder their social, educational and economic success.
