Grasslands Naturalists Advocating for and enjoying nature and wildlife We also have frequent outdoor field trips in and around Medicine Hat. Anyone is welcome to join.

The Society of Grasslands Naturalists (GN) is a non-profit charitable organization based in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and manages the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program at Police Point Park. The Society of Grasslands Naturalists encourages the study, conservation and protection of all components of the natural world. Grasslands Naturalists provides educational opportunities, assists in the coll

ection and provision of species data, acts as stewards of the environment, discusses environmental topics and organizes member activities. We participate in spring and fall bird counts and other "citizen science" observations. We publish a monthly newsletter "The Sagebrush Chronicle" which contains more information about our Society and activities. Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of months September through May, at 7:00 pm, at Police Point Park Nature Centre.
