Meet Ahmad Jabbir! Ahmad asks you to imagine a world where you were only encouraged to exercise when out of shape, but once you were fit, continuing was seen as optional. It’s hard to imagine, right? Yet, society often treats mental health this way, waiting until things feel overwhelming before addressing it. Stress, burnout, and anxiety are all too common among staff at schools. What if we approached mental health like fitness, something to practice regularly whether we’re having a rough week or already feeling great? In his interactive performance, Ahmad talks about Mental Fitness for educators and shares how to make our Mental Fitness routines just as attractive as our physical one.

Meet Stuart Young! Stuart serves as a councillor for the City of Medicine Hat, continuing to dedicate himself to meaningful impact and community growth. He will share personal stories from his own journey, growing up with ADHD in a single-parent household, navigating a traumatic childhood, often feeling like he didn’t fit in, and how the beacons of light in his life were caring adults who saw him, believed in him, and refused to give up. His hope is that you’ll leave reminded of the same truth: that what you do matters deeply.
