Medicine Hat Safe Community Association – AGM
The Medicine Hat Safe Community Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in the Board Room at the Medicine Hat Police Station.
We are currently looking for new board members and would love to have community-minded people come out and learn more about what we do.
Are you interested in getting involved in your community?
Would you like to help make Medicine Hat a safer and stronger place for everyone?

The Medicine Hat Safe Community Association would like to extend a huge thank-you to all of the amazing volunteers who gave their time to assist us with the KidFind booth at the Stampede!

KidFind is a very important program that helps keep children safe during large events like the Stampede. By registering children, we can help reunite them quickly with their parent or guardian should they become separated while on the grounds.

We could not do this without our dedicated volunteers. Even in the extreme heat, you all persevered and continued to give your time and energy to help keep children safe.

Thank you all so very much for everything you do! Please know that each and every one of you is truly appreciated and valued. We are incredibly grateful for your support! ❤️

Thank you to all of the volunteers that attended the meeting tonight! For those who couldn't make it, fire us off a message and we will give you a number to call to get your gate entry pass when you arrive at the gate.

We are incredibly grateful to the Methanex Gives Committee for their generous donation of $3,500 in support of our EPIC Program!

A special thank-you to Adanna Swan and the Stakeholder Team at Methanex for providing us with this wonderful opportunity.

The EPIC Program (Encouraging Positive Informed Choices) is a youth-focused initiative delivered by the Medicine Hat Police Service (MHPS) that educates students—particularly those in Grades 4 and 6—about substance abuse, decision-making, and choosing healthy paths.

This funding will help us expand our reach, enhance our resources, and continue making a positive impact on youth throughout our community.
