Another family treasure finds a new home! This large spinning wheel, passed down through several generations, is a perfect compliment to the Abolitionist's House parlour setting. Thank you, Esther and John, for this wonderful addition to Sheffield Park Museum.

I had the pleasure, on behalf of the Meaford Culture Foundation, of presenting a cheque to the Sweetwater Music Festival. This sponsorship enabled a full house of students to enjoy and learn about classical music at Meaford Hall. The artists explained their instruments, their music, and answered questions hopefully fostering the next generation of musicians.
