Vincent Fall Fair. In 1855 the first exhibition was held on a site called "Beaver Meadow" in the village of Meaford. The present location was aquired in 1905 at the corner of Collingwood & Thompson streets. The Meaford & St. Vincent Agricultural Society holds fundraising events such as Beef Dinner & Silent Auction being held in June as well as the annual kick off for the fair with the Jr. Ambassad

or Competition & the Pork Chop BBQ held in August on the Wednesday before the Labour Day weekend. The Agricultural Society also subsidizes the fair by catering for your special event. To check/book availability, contact 519-538-1694. The Agricultural Society would not be able to hold the Fall Fair & offer prizes without the generous donations from local businesses & private donors, as well as grants from OMAFRA & the Town of Meaford. Volunteers & members are always welcomed. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except July, Sept & Dec, at 7:30 at the Meaford curling club. For more info contact 519-794-0574

You can send payment by cheque to Meaford Agricultural Society, 165 Parker St. W, Meaford, N4L 1M1 OR e-transfer [email protected] (use meaford as your security answer). Our order deadline will be June 6. You may order in person at the Meaford curling Club during our plant sale Sat. June 6, 8am-12pm.
