Pray for Meadow Lake Food Bank. The food bank has been suffering of flooding for years. This is one of the many reasons why we need a new building. We have black mold in the insulation all around the building including in the food bank.

Good morning Meadow Lake.

First and foremost. I would like to thanks:

1. Second Harvest for the potatoes 🥰, the wonderful Door of Hope volunteers who helped unloading the pallets 🥰,The Shop who helped distributing potatoes to community members 🥰, Loretta King and her wonderfull staff at the Metis Nations office who helped with the distribution of lots of pallets and connections with our northern citizens, The Co-op center manager, and the staff for helping loading and facilitating the use of the civic center🥰, our wonderfuMeadow Lake Outreach Ministrieseses board of directors for spending the day carrying, bagging and helping people with their potatoes, and the radio stations in Meadow Lake and North Battlefords for making the Announcement 📣 , and each person who reposted and share, and for all the people who helped behind the scene not mentioned here.

Thank you, you are awesome !!!

Because of this amazing people and collective efforts: Meadow Lake Food Bank through Second harvest was able to provide around 60,000 pounds of potatoes to individuals, families, and organizations in need of help!

Due to infrastructure issues and storage limitations at the food bank. We are happy to announce

FREE POTATO GIVEAWAY!

Come on down at the Civic Center today from 2PM to 5 PM and grab some FREE yellow potatoes — perfect for your kitchen, garden, or to share with friends and family!

Bring your own boxes, bags, and transportation — we’ve got plenty of spuds, but you’ll need to carry them home.
Don’t miss out! Stop by, pick up your potatoes, and spread the word to your neighbors. Let’s make sure nothing goes to waste!
