Folks, do we have a treat for you: Lynda Monahan, Saskatchewan's Poet Leaureate, is hosting a Spoken Word Open Mic night right here in Meadow Lake! Thursday, October 15 @ 7pm.

Join us for a fun night out enjoying the creativity in our community!

Reach out if you're interested in participating. We are looking for poetry, prose, storytelling, and music, both original pieces and favourites by others.

We'd like to thank the Saskatchewan Writers Guild and for the generous support and for encouraging literature and creativity across the province.

Calling all library patrons ages 9-13! Saskatchewan Library Week is October 11-17, and we are once again accepting applications to be Librarian for a Day!

Running from after school to 8:30pm on Friday, October 16, the Librarian for a Day program invites 6 youth to help with library duties and have some after hours fun!

To apply, pick up and complete an application before 6pm on Tuesday, October 13th. *Note that 6 youth will be chosen randomly from all completed applications.

A little Halloween craft for those of you looking for a not-so-spooky season!

These mini ghosts are made of glow in the dark polymer clay. Delicate fine motor skills are involved so this session is for our teen and adult patrons, or younger ones paired with someone who can help.
